The harmony between hops and malts is one of the strong points of this beer this was evident in both aroma and flavor. Just by catching a whiff and taking a sip, this beer gave us immediately a glimpse of how the hoppy and bitter American IPA evolved into something hazier, juicier, and less bitter. First brewed 18 years ago, Heady Topper is believed to be the beer that paved the way to countless interpretations of the New England IPA (or Hazy IPA) that we enjoy today.
